What a frustrating experience. I was ready and willing to part with some cash to purchase a new Apple Cinema Display. The one that has a Thunderbolt connection.

To cut a long story short, I needed to ask for a few things and the sales person needed to walk off and get me the answers – which was fine. However, I didn’t expect to wait 10 minutes to have him return and to start the process. So I waited, again.

I checked the time and I needed to be somewhere else in 10 minutes, so I decided to go to the counter to leave my details so this person could call me back when the item was ready. I proceeded to the counter only to have the two young guys standing there talking to themselves – and not to interested in speaking with me. Mind you, they were only 5 or so meters away from me. I left my contact details with them so the salesperson could call me back when he’s ready.

You might have guessed it, I never got a call back today. So my question to self. Do I really need to go back and hassle them? I would have thought no. It’s no wonder that customers are frustrated with retailers.
